Learn a new skill and liven up your living space with a handmade pillowcase! DIY Festival alumna Sarah Burroughs creates products that flaunt quality materials, minimalist designs, and international textiles while supporting local and global causes. In this workshop, Sarah will guide us through the process of sewing a decorative 20″x20″ square pillowcase from handcrafted West African mudcloth. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines. Pillow inserts will be available for sale separately.
