Self-taught metalsmith and DIY Festival favorite Malinda Fisher is the creative force behind Desert Rose Jewelry, a company she created in 2010. Fisher is known for her delicate designs that capture the spirit of Utah’s desert landscape. In this workshop, attendees will learn to cut, drill, file and form sheet metal into a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind hairpin.
LOCATION: The Gallivan Center, Main Stage, 239 S Main St Salt Lake City, UT 84111. Please see this venue map and photo for reference. You can enter through the door on the west side of the building.
