We are building something new! Metropolis launches March 4th at Metro Music Hall, featuring NCM residents with tip-top selectors from the underground of house and techno.
Waajeed is a musical artist from Detroit, constantly shape-shifting to inspire the spirit of his people. A founding member of Slum Village and Platinum Pied Pipers, he has helped shape Motor City's venerable house and hip-hop scenes working with the likes of J Dilla, Amp Fiddler, and Theo Parrish. Comfortable collaborating with musicians from across the spectrum of sound, his main objective is authenticity. Currently, Waajeed is working to build out the Underground Music Academy to foster multi-generational skill-sharing for Detroit’s youth. Waajeed is the real deal. All events at Metro Music Hall will require proof of vaccination or any negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of the event in order for entry.
You need not bring your originals with you to the event. A photo or photo copy of your vaccination card or proof of negative test will be accepted as long as the name matches your ID. Proof of vaccination from the “docket” app will also be allowed.
Masks highly encouraged unless actively drinking a beverage.

- Security reserves the right to search bags, perform pat-down checks, and refuse/revoke entry at their discretion. These reasons include intoxication, disturbing hygiene, engaging in hate speech, belligerent or noncompliant behavior, acts or threats of violence, disturbing other guests, etc.
