Local jewelry maker and art teacher Catherine Widner of Honeysuckle Handmade Studio has been weaving beads since childhood, and enjoys sharing her knowledge of creating handmade items with others. In this Craft Lake City workshop at The Stockist, Widner will teach attendees how to use the brick stitch to weave glass seed bead earrings, bead by bead. Participants will learn how to sew, from start to finish, their very own seed bead earrings, exploring the use of color blocking and line. Attendees will likely create one earring during the workshop and then use their new knowledge and tools to complete the second earring at home.
