LOW TRIBUTE SHOW... Saturday March 25th! (Proceeds to Benefit the Parker/Sparhawk Family) Velour and the international music community were devastated by the news of the passing of Mimi Parker, drummer and co-vocalist of the legendary and influential band Low... I've been lucky enough to host the majority of Low's Utah shows since 1998 and was very much looking forward to their concert that was scheduled for March 25th at Velour... Since the canceling of their tour I have felt a reverence for that date and have had a hard time booking anything else... Finally about a month ago I decided that the only proper thing to do with that date was to celebrate Mimi and Low with a tribute concert! Of course the second thing I did was to call tribute concert guru (And massive Low fan) Paul Jacobsen, who has taken the majority of the reins on this...

When a band is revered enough that artists like Wilco and Robert Plant cover your songs, the bar is set pretty high. We will do our best though with an all-star lineup of Utah bands from past and present lovingly covering their favorite Low songs!

Due to inevitable medical bills and loss of crucial tour revenue, we will be donating proceeds to the Parker/ Sparhawk family. Please come support this night of amazing music and a great cause...
