Sequoia's 4 part cabaret series is back at the Urban Lounge, but this time there's a bit of a twist. While technically this is still a one woman cabaret, there will be two performers on stage! For this extra special show, Sequoia is joined by her older brother, Jaron, for a one-night-only cabaret full of stories, fierce vocal duets and solos, comedy, heart, joy, and who knows! Maybe some fight choreography. You'll just have to see for yourself. Head on down to the Urban Lounge on May 24 and catch two siblings, with a lifetime of songs and stories, and enjoy a cabaret you'll never forget. For any Sequoia fans who may not know, Jaron Barney is an actor, singer, songwriter, playwright, vocal coach, and producer based in New York City. He's been seen on tour nationwide with The Book of Mormon Musical, on tour worldwide with Carol's Kings, and has shown original work at iconic NYC venues such as 54 Below, Joe's Pub, Pianos, and more. For any Jaron fans who may not know, Sequoia is an award winning drag artist, singer, actor, comedian, and hostess based in Salt Lake City. Since 2024 she's been seen nationwide touring with Pattie Gonia's SAVE HER! Since 2021, Sequoia has produced, hosted, and starred in drag and theatre productions across the state of Utah, winning her the titles "Utah's Best Drag Entertainer" (CityWeekly '24,'25,'26), and "Icon of the Year" (Iconique Awards, '25).
