Local maker Marti Woolford is ready to show you the ropes of macramé in this hands-on workshop at Gallivan Center! Macramé is the art of making decorative and functional objects from knotted cord. Attendees will learn basic macramé principles and techniques, and then apply their new knowledge to create an intricate, hand-knotted plant hanger to take home. Please note that the plant and pot provided in the workshop may differ from what is pictured.--
This workshop is located at The Gallivan Center on the Main Stage, 239 S Main St in Salt Lake City, UT 84111. Please see this venue map and photo for reference. You can enter through the door on the west side of the stage building. The workshop space on the stage is indoors.
Please note that parking is not included in your workshop ticket. Parking rates vary. Parking options include metered street parking, the Ampco Parking Garage at 30 East 200 South, parking at the Walker Center on 175 S. Main Street, and parking at the Wells Fargo Building on 70 East 300 South.
