In the wake of the hardships from COVID-19, many small independent music venues around the globe were forced to close permanently. Fortunately, thanks to our amazing local music community and some good luck, Salt Lake City’s longest-running all ages venue Kilby Court survived. And now, after much planning, we are excited to deliver on our promise to revive the annual Kilby Block Party and celebrate 20+ years of live music with everyone once again!

If you love Kilby Court, love the artists playing, or just want to join us for the festivities, buy a ticket and help us in bringing in more of your favorite (or soon-to-be favorite) artists for 2022. Additionally, your ticket will also go towards benefitting SpyHop, an after-school media & arts program for young people ages 9-19. More information can be found here: https://spyhop.org/

For those who don't know, the Kilby Block party is an all day concert featuring live music on 3 separate stages, food trucks, craft beer, and art installations. The Block Party takes over 700 South and 300-500 West in downtown SLC for a huge outdoor party. In 2019, we held our first Block Party to celebrate our 20th Anniversary with headliner Death Cab for Cutie. This year: Young The Giant, Built To Spill, ??? (announcing June 20th), flor, Mates of State, and Ron Gallo are headlining our main stage. With a nod to the Kilby legacy, all of the headlining groups have also once played Kilby in the early stages of their careers. Alongside them include several local artists performing on the Kilby Stage— many of whom played Kilby Court Benefit Shows during the pandemic to help keep us afloat. SpyHop is also curating their own stage which features talented members of their unique program. Don't miss it!

We are so thankful to everyone who can be involved with us this year and can’t wait to see you all again!
