Peppermint Soap Workshop
November 21, 2019
239 S Main Street
SLC, UT 84111
Upcoming events at The Gallivan Center
Local makers Jennifer and Derek Williamson are the owners of Olio Skin & Beard, a company committed to creating natural, plant-derived skin, beard and shaving products. In this hands-on workshop at the Gallivan Center, the Williamsons will guide attendees through the basics of creating their very own peppermint-scented face and body soap. Workshop participants will learn about cold process soap-making, including how to safely work with lye (students are encouraged to wear long sleeves). Attendees will handcraft festive soap during the workshop and then take it home to cure for 4 weeks, making it ready for gift-giving just in time for the holidays!--
