Wine Lips
Wine Lips is pure chaos. The Canadian garage punk psych rockers know a thing or two about getting loud and rowdy, and their ear-scorchin’, headbangin’, adrenaline-pumpin’ music rips so hard and fast it’ll feel like you’re being launched clean out of reality. The band’s been givin’r since 2015. What began as a part-time project between Cam Hilborn (vox, songwriter, guitar) and Aurora Evans (drums) got cranked right up to a full-blown international shredfest over the last decade. They’ve quietly become one of the most successful independent rock bands to emerge from Canada in a generation. Wine Lips started out in and around Toronto, expanded to Ontario and Quebec, then knocked out a cheeky international tour in Hong Kong and China in 2018. From there, like their music, they never slowed down. They’ve ripped hundreds of sets all across North America, Europe, and Asia, playing big fat often sold-out shows at some legendary venues. For three years, they were pretty much always on the road — right up until the end of 2024 when they decided to chill a bit on all the touring to focus on writing their new record TV Dinner.
